I beg to differ. The baby may not realize that it has alternate uses of time so it may seem to be a marginal cost of zero but instead of feeding, perhaps the infant could be sleeping and instead of sleeping it decides to feed. Be it minute, the opportunity of sleeping is still a cost forgone by the baby by its choosing to feed at that given time.
as a woman, i believe that the marginal cost of feeding an infant is zero since an infant has no alternate use of time.
