Globalization can be quantified by looking at the Current Account in the Balance of Payments. Some reasons given for a -CA are adverse supply shocks, higher interest rates in the US, good business climate where contracts are honored, and preferences. In the next blog, I will show that the exchange rate plays a part in international capital flows and affects the current account.

Right now, I spend about $53 per month on my phone bill which is with Rogers. This includes 2500 sent text messages, unlimited evenings and weekends, and 150 anytime minutes. What would the cost be per month to get an iPhone (on Rogers) with the texting/anytime calling etc.? Is it worth spending the money? What other phones would you recommend instead?

Anybody can tell me how forex options affect forex market? Do they actually affect the market only when they are exercised? Does an exercise of a forex option occur at the same time as a sell-off of the option? (My understanding is that when an option expires, you have to exercise it then sell it to make profit)
